Old-age, widow & disability pensions (UP)

Three main pensions

• Old-age pension — for citizens 60+, means-tested; apply on sspy-up.gov.in.
• Widow pension — for widows meeting income criteria; same SSPY portal.
• Divyang (disability) pension — for persons with 40%+ disability certificate.

How to apply

• Register on the SSPY portal with Aadhaar, bank account, income certificate and photos; track status online.
• No middlemen needed — the process is free. If someone demands money, refuse and report.
• Payments come directly to the bank account (DBT).
